Silage Bags provide more flexibility and advantages than traditional silage practices. They are designed for fermentation and storing fodder. Silage bags are efficiently used in high moisture cereals, dry cereals, barns/stables and fodder used in open field. It ensures individual packaging of maize/corn, barley, clover, sorghum, sugar beet, turnip, and cabbage and oat-corn mixtures. It is applied by filling the plants to be silaged in bags of 40 kg capacity and tightly closing their openings. The plants, losing contact with the air inside the bag undergo fermentation and turn into silage, a fodder with high nutritive value.
